Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu today filled his pledge of N10millon cash reward to the Lagos State University (LASU) too student ,Miss Yusuf Aminat Imoitesemeh who broke the institution’s 2e years record with 5.0 CGPA .
Aminat was at the office today with her parents to show appreciation to the governor.
The record breaker used the opportunity to share his experience on how her parents’ unwavering commitment to her and her siblings’ education shaped her path to success.
They instilled the value of aiming high and provided everything she needed.
In his remark, the governor said ” I fulfilled my promise today by awarding Miss Yusuf Aminat Imoitesemeh, LASU’s top student, a prize of N10 million.
Her 5.0 CGPA in Law at just 23 years old is a testament to her hard work and Lagos State’s quality education.
“I also had the chance to have a meaningful conversation with Miss Aminat and her parents, Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf and Hajia Halimah. We discussed her background and the crucial role her disciplined parents played in her personal development.
“I encouraged Aminat to use her voice as a champion for vulnerable communities and to promote initiatives tailored to their needs.” Sanwo-Olu said.
