The newly installed Obalodo of Oye kingdom,Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has promised to use his influence to showcase the traditional festival of the town “Oro Oye or Ode Festival” to the world
He disclosed that “ode festival or Oro Oye” will witness national and international attention in no distance time.
Speaking during the end of the year meeting held at the Local government civic centre Oye-Ekiti.,Chief Oguntoyinbo thanked the current Executive members of Oye-Ekiti Progressive Union, under the leadership of Barr. Dare Owolabi
He commended the town’s uni for their landmark achievements in Oye community, ending year, 2023/ 2024. He equally promised not to relent in his efforts to contribute to the development of oye community.
Oguntoyinbo who described the current administration as a continuity of the administration of Mr. Lucas Oniyelu, the immediate past President of Oye Progressive Union.
The Obalodo used the ocassion to express gratitude to Oloye, Oba Michael Ademolaju Adugbole 11 oloye in council, Obirin Oye, particularly Eye Oye, the executive members of oye Progressive Union, Oye Youth association and the teaming youth, Community leaders in oye, home and abroad for their numerous and wonderful supports, in term of finance, moral, physical and spiritual that accounted for the success of the his installation as Obalodo of Oye Kingdom.
The President who announced free donation of 10 plots of land by the Obalodo family, expressed gratitude of the community to Obalodo family and prayed for the progress and uplift ment of the family. Obalodo family equally promised that the family will look into the request of the youths in term of land allocation.
