The Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) has moved to the 84the position in the global university rankings and first in Nigeria for the fourth consecutive time by the Times Higher Education Impact .
The acting Vice Chancellor , Professor Olasupo Ijabade who made this known at a Press Briefing said the propellers of the University success story is attributed to the resilience and dedication of the founder ,Aare Afe Babalola, who he said , making the University a citadel of learning, providing quality and functional education for Nigerian students..
Ijabadeniyi added that the recognition is also attributed to the University’s strengths in areas such as health, agriculture, engineering, law and others.
The university that was recently ranked by the highly respected Times Higher Education Impact Rankings as No. 1 in the World in SDG 7, No. 1 in the World in Outreach with a score of 98%, No. 1 in the World in Stewardship with a score of 98.2%, No. 1 among all the 264 Federal, State, and Private universities in Nigeria for three consecutive years: 2022, 2023 and 2024.
