As a strategic way of securing victory for the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji in the October 27, 2025, a member of House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Bamisile, has begun aggressive mobilisation ahead of the internal poll, while also predicting landslide victory for the governor.
To actualise this, the ranking member of the House of Representatives, directed his 35 aides, including Senior Legislative Assistants and Legislative Assistants appointed across the Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, to start rallying the constituents and APC members for the governor.
Bamisile gave the directive on Monday, during a virtual meeting held with his aides on the imperative of putting the APC members on red alert ahead of the shadow poll.
Bamisile in a statement released on Tuesday, via his Media Office in Abuja, predicted 100% victory for the governor in his Federal Constituency, comprising Gbonyin, Emure and Ekiti East Local Governments.
He said the APC members will demonstrate their solid backing and reciprocate the good gestures exhibited by the governor towards them, by way of appointments and execution of vital projects in the council areas.
Bamisile warned the APC members against displaying divided loyalty to the governor, saying the state Chief executive has expressed respect for party leadership and members, by concentrating the running of the party in their hands without undue interference.
“It is rare to get a leader like Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who is not power drunk. A leader who allows the party leaders and members to take ownership of the party’s operations, at a time when some governors were riding roughshod on their parties.
“I have that confidence that the governor will record 100% victory in my federal constituency, not on the basis of emotion and undue partisanship, but on the premise of performance.
“Before Governor Oyebanji assumed office, Gbonyin and Ekiti East Local governments, which are major components of my constituency, were in total darkness for over 10 years. Within a year, they were reconnected to the national power grid and the economy of those councils have improved significantly.
“The governor had also constructed Isinbode-Ara-Ikole road, while Emure Local Government has become a hub of commercial agriculture practice through the cluster farming he established by the government in the town.
“The people will also demonstrate love for the governor on the appointment of the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Lekan Ogunmoye, from Omuo Ekiti, among other high profile appointments made from that federal constituency.
“I have no doubt in my mind that 100% victory is sure for him in my constituency in this coming APC primary”, Bamisile stated.
Bamisile saluted the party leadership, members, labour unions, artisans, civil servants, traders and student bodies over the series of genuine endorsements for the governor’s second term ambition.
The National Assembly member described these endorsements as strong motivations that will make the governor delivers the more dividends of democracy to the populace.
