The Forum of Former Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State, who served during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi and popularly known as Team Koseleri, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Honourable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Abdulwaheed Adelabu “Penkelemesi”, on the occasion of his birthday.
A statement signed by the group’s coordinator, Hon. Yekeen Popoola, former Chairman of Oyo ALGON, Team Koseleri praised Oloye Abdulwaheed’s unwavering commitment to public service, both in his current role and throughout his distinguished career, including his tenure as a Deputy Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria.
“On behalf of Team Koseleri, we rejoice with chief Abdulwaheed Adebayo Adelabu, the Honourable Minister of Power, on this auspicious occasion of his birthday,” the statement read. “Your journey from the banking sector to national leadership reflects integrity, competence, and a deep-rooted passion for service.”
The group further acknowledged Hon. Abdulwaheed’s enduring contributions to national development and his impact on the lives of Nigerians through his reforms in the power sector, calling him “a shining example of Ibadan excellence and a worthy son of Oyo State.”
They also highlighted his role as a cultural ambassador, being a respected traditional titleholder in Ibadanland. “We are proud of your accomplishments and the honour you bring to our state and heritage,” the statement added.
