Istanbul’s Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for 37 Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, over charges of genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

The warrants were requested by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, citing systematic attacks against civilians, hospitals and the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters.

The decision follows months of investigation into evidence of deliberate killings, destruction of civilian areas and obstruction of humanitarian aid.

Officials named in the order include Defence Minister Yisrael Katz, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir and Navy Commander David Saar Salama.
