Arrangements have been concluded for the first Coronation Anniversary of the Obalodo of Oye-Ekiti Kingdom, High chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo.
A statement from Mrs. Omolola Adeniyi on behalf of the entire children who are the organiser said the twin celebrations would also marks the 70th birthday of the community leader .
The statement said the maiden Coronation anniversary
of Obalodo of Oye kingdom begins on Friday 5th December with Muslim Prayers at the family compound Ilodo quarters, along old Oye// Ire road by 9 am in the morning.
The statement reads ‘We are indeed happy, and proud to identify with our father for his various successes and achievements as a disciplined, hardworking, courageous, honest ,bold and principled.
Obalodo is a reliable father who by the grace of God clocks 70 years on earth, and one year on the throne of his forefathers.
His ascension to the throne of his forebears has witnessed remarkable achievements, despite challenges.
Part of the events will be Christian denomination on Saturday 6th December by 9am and will be followed by traditional prayers, by 11am,
The ceremonies will be rounded off with entertainment of guests at the same venue.
