VICE-CHANCELLOR’S MESSAGE TO STUDENTS ON THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE SECOND SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS
My Dear World-class Students,
Good morning and happy new month.
As you commence your Second Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, today, Monday, 1st June 2026, I extend my warm congratulations to you on reaching this important milestone in the academic calendar.
The examination period is a significant part of your journey at Lagos State University. It is not merely a test of what you have learned, but an opportunity to demonstrate your growth, commitment, and readiness for the next phase of your academic pursuit. Whether you are progressing to a new level or moving closer to graduation, these examinations represent another important step towards achieving your goals.
I encourage you to approach this exercise with confidence, optimism, and a positive mindset. Prepare diligently, remain focused, manage your time wisely, and give your best in every paper. The knowledge, training, and support you have received throughout the semester have adequately prepared you for success.
As you strive for excellence, I must also remind you that the University maintains a zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractice. Any form of misconduct will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Students’ Handbook. Let your success be built on honesty, hard work, and integrity.
