A young model, Ibrahim Mbaya, popularly known as Ibee, has died after he was allegedly beaten by a mob over accusations of stealing an iPhone in Plateau State.
The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Ring Road area of Jos North Local Government Area, sparking outrage and renewed concerns over the growing incidence of jungle justice in the country.
According to reports, Mbaya was accused of stealing an iPhone before he was allegedly attacked by an angry crowd. He reportedly sustained severe injuries during the assault and later died.
