Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom Welcomes Indigenes Into October, Prays For Restoration And Prosperity

The Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Ikere Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Adejimi Adu-Alagbado, Agirilala II, has issued his New Month royal message for October to sons and daughters of the Kingdom at home and in the diaspora.

In the message entitled “IKERE OOOO! ARIREMAKO OOOOO!!”, the monarch, on behalf of the Royal Stool and the Ogoga-in-Council, welcomed the people into what he described as the Month of Balance, Transition, Justice and Peace.

According to the traditional ruler, October is a significant and symbolic month that reminds the people of divine order, fairness, harvest and new beginnings, praying that the season of transition will usher in divine restoration for all indigenes.

“To all our people, wherever you are — in Ikere, in Lagos, in Abuja, across Nigeria and in distant lands — I extend my royal blessings, heartfelt goodwill and fervent prayers,” the Oba said.

He prayed for sound health, divine protection, uncommon wisdom, peace, favour and prosperity for all households, adding that the month should open fresh doors of opportunity, renew hope and give countless reasons to celebrate.

“I decree over your lives that every sincere and legitimate labour of your hands in this month shall be crowned with outstanding success, every challenge before you shall turn into a stepping stone to greater heights,” the statement read.

The Paramount Ruler also committed Ikere Kingdom into the hands of God, praying that the month brings good tidings and progress to the land, that evil be far from its borders, and that every development and investment in Ikere yields meaningful growth.

Oba Adu-Alagbado used the occasion to make a royal call to all sons and daughters of Ikere, both high and low, young and old, to remain steadfast in upholding the values that define the people, including unity, peace, love, respect for elders, hospitality, hard work and commitment to the progress of the fatherland.

He urged indigenes to continue to join hands and contribute resources, ideas and talents towards building an Ikere that is peaceful, prosperous and great.

The monarch wished all sons and daughters of Ikere Kingdom a happy, peaceful, fruitful and prosperous new month.
