United Kingdom based security expert, Opeyemi David-Falegan has condemned the last Wednesday’s robbery attacks on sone banks in Ikere-Ekiti.
Falegan, in a statement by his media aide blamed the brazen attacks on innocent people and commercial institutions on alleged laxity on the part of the security agents .
According to the officer of the Royal Force ,”security should be the heartbeat of the ruling Government and the society should not be denied of that.”
Falegan therefore called for the re-jigging of the security apparatus in the state to meet up with the current realities.by adopting modern technology.
Specifically, Falegan demanded the immediate procurement and deployment of more security gadgets at some flashpoints and strategic areas across the state
He explained that this intervehtion woukd assist the security operatives in monitoring the situation of the states as being done in the United Kingdom.
“Ekiti is my state and my home; I will never be happy to see armed robbers strikes in my state and I will be forced to counter terrorism and robbery in my state as an Royal Air Force if the state security refused to do their work””I hope investigation is being done and the perpetrators should be brought to book.” Falegan said .
