Dr. Kalu, the author of the six-chapter, 201-page book, earlier warned that Nigerians cannot afford to stay with the current crop of insensitive, utterly incompetent, nepotistic, incapable, and retrograde thinkers who are in charge of the nation’s affairs.
He stated that 2023 is “one greatest chance to pick a leader with verified track records of leadership success, and in all walks of life,” as plainly stated in the book.
“This is our chance to elect a man who is deeply detribalized, an unrepentant supporter of justice, and sensitive to the differences in our society,” the candidate said.
Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, Director, Support Group and Event for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Campaign Council who gave the charge said, the 2023 election is about the future of the nation.
He spoke on Monday at the book launch for Atiku themed, “The man for Nigeria, authored by Chief. Emeka Kalu, held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
Fabiyi, who represented the PDP Presidential candidate said the youths, who are the biggest demographers in the election, should not allow anyone to chock anything untoward in their neck.
According to him: “Everywhere I go to represent him (Atiku), I always speak for myself, so I tell our Youths who are the biggest demography in this election, they mustn’t allow anyone to chock anything untoward in their neck.
“So they must try as much as possible to interrogate anything that any candidate is telling them.
“Atiku Abubakar is not coming to governance, because he needs Nigerian money, marry a new wife, buy a new private or build new houses, but to help recover the country. So the youth should stand up and support Atiku, who is seeking a partnership with them.”
