2023 : Atiku Mocks Fayose ,Wike others At Ekiti PDP Presidential Rally

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ,Presidential  Flagbearer Alhaji Atiku Abubakar  came hard on those he referred to as ” enemies ” within the party  for allegedly working to sink his ambition ”

Addressing a crowd of support at the popular Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Atiku, in a veil reference to the former governor of Ekiti State ,Ayo Fayose and Rivers State governor, Nyesone Wike  said certain forces had plotted to truncate the rally.

Though, only two out of about 29 PDP candidates jostling for positions appeared at the rally, the PDP Flagbearer gave gratitude to God  for the success of the event in spite of the initial threats.

Only Senator.Biodun Olujimi and Engr. Akomolafe Henrich ,candidates  fur the Ekiti South Senatorial District and Ekiti South Federal Constituency One ,respectively   graced the occasion and were presented with the party flags .

All other candidates loyal to Fayose boycotted the event

The apparently elated Atiku said ”  What I saw today almost make me to  shed tears. Before we came to Ekiti, they said we won’t see anybody to receive or identify with us today but you surprised us.

“To stop you from coming to this event, they created artificial scarcity of fuel and made transporters to withdraw their services from the road but you broke the challenges to be here enmass.”I can assure you that, if you vote PDP to power on February 25, we will continue to always make you happy everyday as you have made us happy.

“We will  dilapidated Ado-Akure road and others that linked the state to other states.

“Ekiti is the centre of intellectual discourse in the country, which is your God given resources and PDP will make use of this for human capital development. Funds will be made available to youths and women for business enterprise.

“So, vote for PDP and protect your votes on the day of election. Thanks for your love and support for me and the PDP”.

He promised to make the people of Ekiti State and indeed all Nigerians happy if elected president in the February 25 election.

He also vowed to reconstruct Ado-Akure road and harness the human capital resources of the Ekiti people to develop the state and the country

Atiku’s running, governor Ifeanyi Okowa thanked PDP leadership and supporters on the state for standing strong in the face of opposition.

He the excitement of the showed that PDP members united to win for the party saying the party is out to recreate Nigeria for better.

“The disunity in Nigeria today is not Nigeria of our dream, industries are packing. PDP as a party firmly rooted in all states of the federation will turn the country around for better for the youths to have hope of the future”.

The National Chairman of the party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu said the people have shown their commitments to the restructuring of the county by coming here.

” The enemies within and without  may stop you from coming moving today but they can’t stop you from voting for PDP that will rescue Ekiti and Nigeria from tyranny”.

In the entourage of the PDP candidate were : former Vice President  Namadi Sambo ,Senstor Dino Melaye, Mr.  Buni Haruna, Prince Oyinlola Olagunsoye and  Gov. Udom Emmanuel
