The Presidential bid of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar received a major boost as a global support group dubbed Atikulated Global Movement (AGM) unveils a far -reaching campaign strategy .
The group also hinted that part of the campaign plans was to canvass votes for Atiku/ Okowa 2023, with a door to door campaigns on the 25th of November which is Atikus birthday. The Door to door campaigns will then continue till election day February 2023.
The group,in a statement signed by Hon Lilian Madaki,the National Publicity Secretary said AGM is an outstanding National Support Group evolving from the unification of Aspirants and Candidates in the recent PDP primaries
The statement said the group us prepared to celebrate His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s birthday with a door to door Campaign across the 36 States of the federation including the FCT.
“This project will be sponsored by all AGM members in each State.
“This development is futuristic since Atiku is already a brand and what is most important and crucial at this time is electoral victory for the Party and the Presidential Candidate. AGM is confident that with this project victory is assured.
According to the AGM National Chairperson Bolanle Aminat Sarumi Aliyu (BASA), “Canvassing for votes in our various polling units, markets, on the streets etc is the best birthday gift we can give the celebrant- The Waziri Adamawa Alhaji Atiku Abubakar”.
The group had earlier planned to host the Presidential Candidate to a huge dinner at Sheraton Hotel in Abuja in November 2022, but decided that this project would have more impact.
AGM reaffirmed it’s total commitment to mobilising all their resources to ensure Atiku/Okowa and PDP emerges victorious in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
