2023 : Kwankwaso Seeks Extension of PVC Registration  As NNPP Candidate Visits Olofa 

The  Presidential Candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator  Rabiu Kwankwaso  has  called for possible extension  the  registration of the Permsnet Voter Card (PVC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow more  participation .
The NNPPP candidate made this appeal during a  courtesy visit to the Palace of Olofa , Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II,
Kwankwaso  who was in Kwara State for commissioning of the Party’s Secretariat was accompanied by Engr. Buba Galadima and the  Kwara NNPP Gubernatorial Candidate, Prof. Shuaibu Oba AbdulRaheem
Others in his entourage  were the Asiwaju Mashood Shittu; National Women Leader NNPP, Hajia Maryam Yasin, National Welfare Secretary NNPP, Mustapha Alkassim Aliyu; ; Party leaders and members of the Kwankwasiya movement.
Speaking the  former Governor of Kano State  thanked the paramount ruler of Ibolo Kingdom for receiving him at his Palace.
Kwankwaso said   he was in Kwara State to commission the Party’s Secretariat and deemed it necessary to visit Offa owing to his relationship with Olofa and some Sons and Daughters of Offa like his close ally, Asiwaju Mashood Shittu and the Party’s National Women Leader, Hajia Maryam Yasin.
He charged his members to register for their PVC and appealed to INEC for possible extension to allow more registration.
In his  response, Oba Gbadamosi  described Senator Kwankwaso as his bosom friend who often visit and has taken Offa as his second home.
He thanked him for the visit and trust in Offa indigenes. Oba Gbadamosi also joined the call for massive voters registration as the PVC is the only instrument to elect leaders of choice.
Olofa prayed for Senator Kwankwaso safe return. He also requested that he thank the Kwara State Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrazak Abdulrahman for his development stride in Offa and the State at large.
