The group of former chairmen in Oyo State known as Team Koseleri during the tenure of Gov Abiola Ajimobi has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the birth of year 2025.
This was made available in a release signed by the chairman of the group, Hon Yekeen Popoola, the ex-Oyo ALGON boss in the state.
According to the statement, Popoola said
“As the new year dawns, the esteemed members of Team Koseleri extend their heartfelt greetings to the people of Nigeria to mark the occasion of the new year celebrations.
The group reflected on the accomplishments of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2024, while also looking forward to the opportunities ahead in 2025 when those reforms embarked upon by the country under All Progressives Congress APC would start yielding positive results.
“If we look back at 2024, we will discover that president Tinubu had already put Nigeria on the path to economic recovery with good news that Bureau of Public Procurement BPP recorded a huge success in the savings of N37.08Billion, coupled with the ways, Porthacourt and Warri refinery roared back to life within the same 2024, it is very optimistic that the new Nigeria of our dreams is around the corner, so what we (Team Koseleri), want from Nigeria is patience with our president, because we are very confident in his ability to deliver good governance to us.”
Popoola stated further that this time of year offered a chance for reflection and renewal because as Nigerians stepped into 2025, there was assurance that tomorrow was pregnant with a better time and this was the reason Team Koseleri expressed its gratitude to every Nigerians for their continued support and engagement of this government. “Together, we have made significant sacrifices for these strides at improving our country, Nigerians deserve our accolades”
Team Koseleri highlighted some of the key achievements of the Tinubu’s government from student loan, devolution of power, financial autonomy at all levels of government, building of 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos – calabar, Lagos – Sokoto, improved electricity, absence of fuel scarcity, construction of railways from scratch to finish, upgrading of sea and air ports to world class, growing of foreign reserves, to absence of University’s strike among others and upbeat that all this are enough reason to stand with this government.
Looking forward to the new year, Team Koseleri called upon Nigerians to remain active in the civic process. “Our country is filled with potential and possibilities. We urge everyone to stay involved, share ideas that can uplift, and continue to co-exist with the spirit that can shape our diversity for unity , Together, we can achieve even more.”
Popoola therefore wished everyone a happy and prosperous New Year, filled with health, hope, and happiness, encouraged Nigerians to celebrate responsibly and to continue supporting one another as neighbors and friends.
