A 2026 governorship aspirant in Ekiti State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Kayode Ojo has commended members of the All Progressives Congress and other Ekiti residents for giving the Presidential Campaign Council of the party a rousing and enthusiastic welcome on November 5.
According to him, the massive turnout has shown deep appreciation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms aimed at developing the country for the benefit of all, especially the Nigerian masses.
Kayode Ojo, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, said President Tinubu has laid a sturdy foundation for the nation’s economy despite initial challenges.
The politician expressed confidence in the ability of President Tinubu to take Nigeria to the promised land, noting that the bold and undeterred steps taken so far by the President were in the best interest of all Nigerians as they were taken without personal consideration.
“Mr. President has demonstrated uncommon courage. He took decisions not because they were popular but because they were necessary for our collective survival and prosperity. That is true leadership,” Ojo stated.
He also commended his numerous supporters across Ekiti State, especially politicians, civil servants, artisans, youths, market women and men, among others, for rising to the occasion by giving the Presidential Campaign Council undiluted and ardent support.
Ojo noted that Ekiti State remains a stronghold of progressives and must continue to lead in demonstrating loyalty, unity, and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He further assured that Ekiti people are fully prepared and enthusiastic to vote for the APC again in 2027, promising a landslide victory that will reflect the state’s love for President Tinubu and the APC in the general elections.
