Ekiti Election : Promote Your Aspirant; Don’t Insult Others- Bimbo Daramola admonishes APC supporters

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Bimbo Daramola( fondly referred to as congressman) has cautioned members of the party, particularly his supporters to embrace an issue-based campaign ahead of the primaries .

Daramola who is eyeing the return ticket of Oye/ Ikole Federal Constituency,in a statement entitled : Promote Your Aspirant; Don’t Insult Others reminded APC supporters that ” primaries and general election will come and go,but You and I will remain and the party”

Urging them to shun all acts capable of upsetting the existing peace and unity in the party ,the House of Representatives hopeful said ” Say no to uncouth distriabs and languages that do not edify us .

The convener of the BAOwalk who represented Oye/Ikole between 2011- 2015 said abusive messages that disrespect others denigrate us too. Shun that.

“I believe in very civil communication with our people , I respect the rights of anyone who disagrees with me and my opinion.In all, I want to enjoin all my supporters not to dwell on any matter that is different from the thematic thrust of our campaign. Please .

“TALK about who we are, what we did with the mandate of the people when we had the opportunity, and what we can do and will do when God through the goodwill of well intentioned people of Oye and Ikole agrees with us”
