Muslim Media Practitioners Felicitate Members Over NSCIA Appointments

 

The Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria, MMPN, has congratulated four of its members on their recent appointments into key positions in the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA.

The appointees are Prof. Mahfouz Adebola Adedimeji, Mallam Abbas Jimoh, Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu and Hajia Sekinat Lawal.

The appointments were announced following the NSCIA General Assembly held in Abuja.

Prof. Adedimeji was appointed Deputy Secretary-General in charge of National Affairs; Mallam Abbas Jimoh as Deputy Secretary-General in charge of Corporate Matters; Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu as Public Relations Officer; and Hajia Sekinat Lawal as Deputy Public Relations Officer.

In a congratulatory message signed by its National President, Mallam Abdulrahman Balogun, the MMPN described the appointments as well-deserved recognition of the professional contributions, commitment and dedication of the members to the development of the Muslim community and the society at large.

Balogun expressed confidence that the appointees would bring their wealth of experience, professionalism and dedication to bear on their new assignments and contribute meaningfully to the realization of the objectives of the NSCIA.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant them wisdom, guidance and strength to discharge their responsibilities successfully and make positive impacts on the unity, welfare and development of the Muslim Ummah and Nigeria as a whole.
