A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon(Dr) Hellen Taiwo-Adebakin has rejoiced with Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
The PDP stalwart, in a her goodwill message described the governor,who was born on December 25, 1967 as “the Star Boy ” of the SouthWest.
She also described the governor as an astute leader,grassroots politician and great thinker who is transforming Oyo ,through his unprecedented performance, to a state of pride .
Adebakin the National Coordinator of Women In Politics opined that the great impact made by the governor in the last three and half years has eased the task of his re-election.
“We will continue to pray that God, in His infinite Mercy, preserves your health and prolong your life.
You remain the pillar for the South-West. You rekindle the hope and aspirations of the people of the region.
“You have been delivering the dividends of democracy to the people in such a special way.
“In Oyo State everyone has been enjoying the dividends of democracy one way or the other through health service delivery, education programmes, economic packages, transportation programmes and many socio-economic programmes that deliver benefits to retirees, civil servants and auxiliary work forces in Oyo State and many parts of the South-West region.’ Adebakin said
