Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Hon Bimbo Daramola (Congressman) has felicitated with Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on the occasion of his first year in office as the Executive Governor of Ekiti State .
Daramola,former member of the National Assembly, in his goodwill message said governor Oyebanji had brought a reasonable and remarkable stability to Ekiti .
He ,therefore urged the governor not to rest on his oasis in impacting positively on the lives of the people.
Daramola also for increasing wisdom, more comportment for the governor to manage the power invested in you and your position for the benefits of our people and ultimately in the service of our State for the days ahead.
The statement reads : “I and my nitoriojoola family join the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, his delectable wife, the administration and the entire Ekiti Kete in celebration of the occassion of the first anniversary of the BAO administration
“Mr Governor this congratulations from me on the occasion of your One year anniversary as Governor, Ekiti State is not misplaced or uninformed going by comparative analysis of your one year in power and the immediate four years preceeding your which were years of isolationism and exclusivism, your disposition to unite over narrow prism separatist agenda is an accomplishment in itself because as yorubas say “Agbajo owo la fi nso aya”
“We thank God for what you have done in the last 365 days, accross different areas and sectors of the state and in direct impact on the lives of the people.
“I and the entire #nitoriojoolawa join you, your family and the entire administration and the entire Ekiti Kete in celebration on this day and more importantly the accomplishments over this period.
“When the shimmering lights of celebrations go down tonight, when the flowery eulogies and praises from some sycophants reduce to din tonight, please retreat into your closet, stand before the mirror and ask if you have done all that needs be done, and decide to take on the challenges headlong for the years ahead, and there are still many things to do, vast grounds to cover, thankfully your first year has brought reasonable stability to our state as unachievable over the last four years.
“The only person that will tell you the truth is the man you see in the mirror and my Pretty Sister, the adviser of last resort, your wife.
“My Prayers are for increasing wisdom, more comportment to manage the power invested in you and your position for the benefits of our people and ultimately in the service of our State for the days ahead. The Ekiti of our dreams is in your hands. God bless and guide you always.” The statement added.
