A Chieftain of the All Progressive congress(APC) in Ekiti State Hon. Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has urged Mr Biodun Oyebanji to remain focus and determined as he marks his first year in office as the governor of the state .
Oguntoyinbo, community leader and former Chairman of Oye Local Government, in his goodwill message also advised the governor to be wary of the antics of the anti-democratic forces within and outside government.
The APC stalwart who charged the governor not to relent or be distracted despite the current economic challenges facing the state described Oyebanji’s first year in office as a solid foundation for better future .
Oguntoyinbo who is the Obalodo designate and one time State Director National Orientation Agency, NOA ,used the occasion to rejoice with the governor Biodun Oyebanji, his amiable wife, and his deputy governor Mrs. Monisade Afuye for running the affairs of the with full determination to make Ekiti State better than they met it.
He described Oyebanji as a tireless politician, whose experiences in the state as a grassroot had prepared him for governance.
Oguntoyinbo, however cautioned Oyebanji to be wary of the antics of the sycophants and greedy politicians who would never be bold and courageous to tell him the truth because of what they will want to eat within the remaining three years in office.
“They will praise him in his presence, and say another behind your back and that they will also be the first to condemn or blackmail you after leaving the office.” Oguntoyinbo said .
