President Bola Tinubu is reported to have hosted a reconciliation meeting on Thursday night at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, bringing together all the warring parties in the Rivers State political crisis.
Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Speaker Martins Amaewhule, and other Rivers State Assembly members were reported to have attended the closed-door session.
The reconciliation agreement signed yesterday and today by Sim Fubara, this current members of RISIEC commission constituted by the State Administrator, Ibas Ete, to conduct LGA election in the State.
All 23 LGA chairmen to be selected by the real structure that brought him to power, the Wike faction.
All Commissioners and Special Advisers appointed to be given to neutral individuals with zero link to the political crisis in the State.
Former Chief of Staff, Ehie Edison, illegal Speaker, Oko Jumbo, former Secretary of State Government, Tammy Danagogo, Chijioke Ihunwo, Promise Reginald, Ichemati (Sugar Mayor) and others that championed the crisis can NOT be part of the Sim Fubara led government anymore.
Indeed, the State have returned to its original state. No room for crisis merchants.
