Owoyemi, an indigene of Ikere-Ekiti, is among the eleven beneficiaries of the Green Card programme who recently secured the opportunity to begin military service in the United States.
Reacting to the development, Captain Adebomi described the achievement as a testament to the power of mentorship, determination, and creating opportunities for young people to excel on the global stage.
He congratulated Owoyemi on the milestone, expressing confidence that the Ekiti-born youth would distinguish herself through discipline, dedication, and excellence in his new career.
Adebomi reiterated his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, stating that he would continue to leverage his influence and network to create life-changing opportunities for young people across Ekiti State.
According to him, investing in the younger generation remains one of the most effective ways to promote sustainable development and inspire future leaders.
The APC chieftain urged other youths in the state to remain focused, hardworking, and law-abiding, assuring them that greater opportunities would continue to emerge for those who prepare themselves for success.
The recruitment of Owoyemi into the U.S. Army has been hailed by well-wishers as another inspiring success story for Ekiti youths, underscoring the impact of mentorship and strategic support in helping young Nigerians attain international recognition.
