African Union Youth Day 2022: OneUnitedAfrica Hails Zambian Authorities, African Youths  For Succesful Hosting

The convener, OneUnitedAfrica ,Hon Bimbo Daramola (alias congressman) has expressed deep appreciation to the people and government of Zambia for the successful hosting of the 2022 edition of the African Union Youth Day.
The convener and former Nigerian parliamentarian was elated about the huge numbers  of  brilliant and creative African youths who graced the occasion.
Specifically, Daramola  commended the management of the magnificent edifice of Malungushi International Conference Centre, and ONE UNITED AFRICA,  ZAMBIA for ther huge support.
He said “yesterday the ONEUNITEDAFRICA foundation that God gave us the vision to establish two years ago to advance the cause of every African wherever we find ourselves on the soil of this continent through people to people engagement had the second commemoration of this day in Lusaka ,Zambia
Accotding to him  the year’s event  was held at the  newly built 2500 capacity Malungushi International Conference Centre .The edifice had  hosted the AFRICAN UNION
According to him,the  event was attended by the District Commissioner of Lusaka,Mrs Rosa  Zulu
Daramola,who led the  Nigerian delegates to the continental event  renewed commitment to pan African agenda .
“We shall continue to push the frontiers and hope to revive our Africaness through people to people engagement, such that our challenges and situations can be addressed by us Africans.
” We missed the amiable  President Halichima Hakainde, because that event coincided with his visit to the President of the United States just within 6 months of his election.- A rare honour and recognition
“The national anthem was delivered by the students of the reputable and famous KABULONGA BOYS AND GIRLS, that taken the event swung into full swing with comments , and remarks.
“With Our usual frank and intense interactive sessions, not much could be taken as planned with our Youth roundtable , because President of the Republic of Zambia , a youth lover , they made him president anyways, had a session with IMF officials and Cabinet meeting and opening of Parliament.
These state actors were being expected to one on one frank interactions but the sudden developments spinned that out our control.
“This starts from the non negotiable, duty, obligation and imperative that AFRICA MUST FEED AFRICA, henceforth the task is NO AFRICAN MUST GO TO BED WITH HUNGER PAINS or WAKE UP WITH RUMBLING STOMACH DUE TO HUNGER WONDERING WHERE THE BREAKFAST, LUNCH would come from.
“Africa’s successor generation, HER GREATEST WEALTH must know and rise up to these challenges now from Lusaka to Lagos, Capetown to Cassablanca”  Daramola advocated.
“The future of Africa is now, its what we do today that will insure and assure our tommorow,  drawing strength and inspiration from the Patriarchs of the continent who have gone ahead of us, we cannot fail.
“The African field is full,we need African harvesters to bring in the sheaves to our nations on the continent,  United in vision. “Daramola said .
Going down the memory lane ,Daramola  said “we had the first event last year, November 1, 2021 at the prestigious University of Zambia, [UNZA] , an event attended by over 1000 young people, 3 Cabinet Ministers , and a lot of top ranking Government of Zambia.
“The Pan African philosophy this year is a basis to react to 21st century contemporary issues, because  our forefathers on the continent used the same philosophical bent to push for the independence of  the then African State now countries and today we are faced with challenges of #hunger, malnutrition, unemployment etc on the continent, which informed the topic for this year, TACKLING #CONTINENTAL  FOOD SECURITY  CHALLENGE- ROLE #OF #THE #YOUTH, with Zambia  youth as a case study. ”  Daramola reiterated.
