Shaheed Toyinbo, popularly known as Alfa Sunnah, has been remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre after he failed to meet the bail conditions granted by the court.
Toyinbo was remanded on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and is expected to remain in custody until the next adjourned date, November 4, 2026.
The bail conditions reportedly require him to provide a Baale whose chieftaincy title is recognised by the Lagos State Government and who owns both land and a house in Lagos, with a valid Certificate of Occupancy (C of O).
Another condition requires a ₦3 million deposit from his biological relative who is a Lagos State Government employee on Grade Level 12 or above.
The relative must also have been paying contributions to the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) for at least one year and possess a valid tax clearance certificate.
In addition, the letter confirming the relative’s employment with the Lagos State Government must be signed by the Permanent Secretary or another duly authorised official, confirming that the individual is genuinely a state government employee.
As the conditions were not fulfilled, the court ordered that Alfa Sunnah remain in custody pending the next court date on November 4, 2026.
