APC Senatorial candidate Hails Oyebanji’s Investnent Policy Drive 

The  All Progressives Congress(APC)Candidate for Ekiti North Senatorial District, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi has commended the new Governor  of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji for moving round to look for investors who will jump start Ekiti State economies from being federal allocation dependent.

Fasuyi a financial expert and entrepreneur who once served as the Director General of Ekiti State Micro Finance Agency was particularly impressed with the visit of Oyebanji to NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank and SMEDAN (Small and Medium Entrepreneur Development Agency) that serves as catalysts  for development of small and medium enterprises.

In a press statement issued in Ado Ekiti by Chief Niyi Ojo, his media director, Fasuyi said, ” Oyebanji’s visit to the agencies will boost Ekiti State economies. Nirsal Microfinance Bank will readily provide needed funds to approved entrepreneurs whose proposal would have be vetted and adjudged viable.

Smedan will help the new entrepreneurs in capacity building, trainings, feasibility study preparations etc.

Some of the benefits to be derived by getting investors to Ekiti will be: improvement in the State internally generated revenue. Employment opportunities for the teeming youths and a great boost in agriculture products for self sufficiency and exportation to other parts of the world with the establishment of Ekiti Agro Allied International Cargos Airports.”

“By the grace of God, if I’m elected to represent my people in the Senate, I will sponsor a bill to compel each tier of government in the Federation to focus and invest in agriculture as the backbone of Nigeria economy and make the Nation to divest from being a mono economy crude oil dependent. I will Complement Governor Oyebanji’s effort in looking for investors in agriculture for our fertile expanse land.”
