The Association of Table Water Producers has announced hike in the price of its products saying a bag of satchet water is now N200
The State Chairman, Pastor Rufus Ajileye, who made this known after a meeting held in Ado-Ekiti ,the Ekiti State said high cost of production forced the Association to hike the price .
Pastor Ajileye ,the Producer of Damod Water specifically said the current economic realities ocssdiinec by the increase in the prices of petroleum products as well as prices of water materials, like A KG nylon, Packing bag, machine equipment and vehicles made it unaffordable and unbearable for the producers.
He therefore directed all the Zonal Chairmen of water Producers in the State to implement the National policy of two hundred naira per bag of sarchet water across the state with immediate effect.
A statement by the Zonal Chairman oye/ Ikole zone, Mr. Bamitale Oguntoyinbo, the Producer of Bamitex water said members of the association will continue to give priority to the Production of quality water deviod of water borne diseases.
Meanwhile, the Chairmen of water Producers across Ifaki/Otun/Ijero/Aramoko/Oye/
