Ekiti State governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has congratulated the newly installed Obalodo of Oye Kingdom, Hon Bamitale Oguntoyinbo.
Speaking at the Thanksgiving service of Obalodo held at Saint Michael’s Anglican Church, Oye Ekiti the governor ,who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye called on the people of Oye Ekiti to support him.
Oyebanji also urged Obalodo to use his new position to promote love peace and development of the community.
Speaking in the same vain, the former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Modupe Adelabu equally advised Chief Oguntoyinbo to let the love and development of the Community be paramount in his heart while the Eyesorun of Ado Ekiti, Olori Abosede Adejugbe prayed God to give the new Chief wisdom to lead his people aright .
Eatlier in his sermon ,Bishop of Diocese of Ekiti Oke Anglican communion, Isaac Olubowale appealed to Obalodo to see his position as a call to service by God to help humanity and unite the Community.
Bishop Olubowale said the ascension of Oguntoyinbo to stoll of his forebears would engender peace and facilitate the growth of the town.
The Bishop who described Chief Oguntoyinbo as reputable, generous and straight forward man, charged him to let the people of Oye Ekiti to continue to feel his impact.
Appreciating the guests , Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo flanked by his wife, Mrs Omotola Teniola thanked those who made his installation possible, with a promise that restoration of culture and tradition of Oye Ekiti would be given priority.
Among the dignitaries were Senator Ayo Arise, Leaders of the Oye Progressives Union .
