– As Police arrest three suspects
Report reaching globalhotlinenews has it that the abducted Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ekiti State, Barrister Paul Omotoso has been set free .
Omotoso was said to have been revealed overnight .
The APC chieftain, who was abducted last Saturday was said to have released after spending almost six day in the kidnappers den .There has been no communication between his abductors and family since he was seized.
statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu, made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Thursday morning said: “The breakthrough was made possible through the combined efforts of the Police, other sister agencies, the local security outfits and the family members as well as the Ekiti State government.
“Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and are supplying useful information that could lead to the arrest of the prime suspects who are currently at large.”
It was, however, not stated whether a ransom was paid to secure the release the victims or not.
