Tragedy has struck the family of the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Nguru, Dr. Hadiza Usman, following the death of her twin daughters within 48 hours of each other.
The twins, who were both healthcare professionals, were identified as Dr. Hadiya Usman (Hassana), a medical doctor (MD), and Dr. Aidah Usman (Usaina), a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
According to family sources, Dr. Hadiya passed away on Friday, and just two days after, on Sunday, her twin sister, Dr. Aidah, also passed away.
They were described as inseparable from birth, having come together into this world as twins and now, in a manner that has left many in shock and deep reflection, returned to their Creator together.
Indeed, the incident has thrown the medical community in Yobe State and beyond into mourning, with colleagues, friends and associates pouring in condolences to the Usman family.
They came together, and they returned together… Allah is the Almighty, the One who has power over all things._
