The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has been arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC (EFCC).
The lawmaker reportedly confronted on Thursday morning at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State, by agents of the anti-graft agency on matters said to be bordering allegations financial impropriety in office, following a tip-of and stopped and taken away.
He is said to be undergoing serious drilling at the office of the the agency, after being taking into custody, though the specific nature of the allegations are yet to be ascertained.
