Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Hon Israel Adesokan (alias Jaru) has felicitated with Muslims all over the world on the occasion Eidel Fitri celebration.
Adesokan who is far away in Kingdom of Netherlands where he is attending Investment Summit urged Muslims to continue to pray for Ekiti State, Nigeria and the entire world .
The former Security aide to governor Kayode Fayemi said “It’s not enough for the Muslim faithful to imbibe the spirit of generosity during the celebration period only to abandon such virtue afterwards”
“As Muslims in Ekiti State join the rest faithful across the country to celebrate this year Eid-El-Fitir, I exchange greetings from the Kingdom of Netherlands with over 1 billion Islamic adherents in Ekiti and across the world as they mark the end of this year’s Ramadan fast, and I congratulated them for witnessing yet another Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
“The spirit of generosity is the hallmark of Eid-el-Fitr and should be made a usual practice beyond this just concluded Ramadan period.
“I urge my Muslims in Ekiti and accross the globe to love one another, as all lovers of the Holy Prophet Mohammed(S.A.W) must continue to live with the lessons of Eid-el-Fitr and to continue praying for Ekiti State, Nigeria and the entire world as well as her leaders for the needed wisdom to excel in their various roles. I pray that Allah will accept our fasts and prayers.” Adedokan said
