Eidel- Fitri -: Supreme Council Hails Oyebanji Others For Supporting Muslims During Ramadan 

The  Nigeria  Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs,NSCIA, Ekiti state chapter has acknowledged and appreciated the huge supports accorded Muslims during the just concluded Ramadan.
A statement  by Alh( Dr) Hammed Afolabi Bakare, FCA. and Alh Muraina Alabi Jegede ,the  President and the General Secretary respectively ,specifically thanked governor  Oyebanji  for successfully hosting the Muslim Ummah to a huge and befitting Iftar program during Ramadan.
The supreme council also  thanked politicians, philanthropists and good spirited individuals who  reached out  to Muslims in Ekiti State with food items, provisions and cash to  cushioning  the economic hardshipm during  Ramadan fast.May Allah reward them with goodness.
” The council uses  this opportunity to felicitate with muslims in Ekiti state for the successful ending of 2024 Ramadan and the I’d fitr celebration.
“May Allah grant us the reward of our good actions during the just concluded fasting. We pray that God will continue to prolong the life of our President General League of Imams and alfas, Sheikh Dr Mohammed Jamiu Keulere Bello for his promotion of love and unity among the adherent of all religions in Ekiti and Nigeria as a whole.
“We congratulate  and thank our/my Governor,His Excellency Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for  successfully hosting the Muslim Ummah to a gigantic befitting Iftar program which is the best of it’s kind since the creation of Ekiti state in 1996 in terms of content and reach. ” The statement reads in part
“We thank the Governor too for keeping to his Excellency electioneering promises to include muslims in his government. So far right from SSG and many government appointees had been appointed into his government.
 He promised us more as a just Governor and we believe in him and we muslims will also keep to our promise with him and his government.
“We pray for our President  Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Country for economic progress, peaceful coexistence and security of lifes and properties in Nigeria.
“This is not the right time for any increase in Electricity tariffs in Nigeria. We wish our President happy 72th birthday  and Eidel  fitr  celebration “
