A National Assembly member representing Irepo-Oorelope-Olorunsogo Federal Constituency Hon(Prince) Olaide Lateef Muhammed (POLAM) has rejoined with Muslims all over the world on the occasion of Eidel Kabir festival
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) from Oyo State,in his Sallah Message made available to journalists in Abuja urged Muslims to always thank Allah for sparing their lives to witness the 2023 edition of the annual religious Festival.
Hon Mohammed urged Nigerian muslims to use the occasion to pray for the nation’s, peace, unity and stability as well as its leaders across the board.
The Federal Lawmaker noted that that Nigeria as a country was lucky to have capable hands at the executive and legislative arms of government.
The APC stalwart specifically charged Muslims to intensify their prayers for the success of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency.
While noting that Nigeria is passing through one of the most challenging moments ,Mohammed admonished them not to lose hope ,instead renewed their commitment to peace and unity of the country .
The House of Representatives member also urged Muslims to celebrate with moderacy and show lovevtomfheir neighbours .
” I want to use this opportunity to rejoice with Muslims all over the world on the occasion of the Eidel Adha celebration. We cannot ,but give thanks to Allah (SWT) for sparing our lives and counting ussmong the living to witness this religious Festival. While we celebrate, we must extend havds if love to the weak and less priviledged in the society.
“Let us also use this occasion to pray for our amiable President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.that God in His infinite mercy guide, protect and give him the wisdom and energy to pilot the ship of the nation to the promised land.
“I equally want us to pray for the leadership of the House of Representatives led by Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas. This is probably the first time Nigeria is having, competent capable and prepared leaders at the helmp of Affairs both st the Executive and Judicial Arms of government. The only way Nigerians can derive full dividends of democracy is to pray for our leaders. ” the statement reads in part
Hon Muhammadu however ssuured the masses that the various economic policies being championed by the Tinubu’s administration would better their lots in no distant time.
