Eidel Kabir: The World Must Not Sleep Over  War  On Gaza – Ekiti NSCIA

 

 

The  Council For Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, Ekiti State has cautioned that the Israel / Gaza and Russia/ Ukraine wars are not something the world should ignore nor sleep over.

President, NSCIA,Ekiti State, Alhaji (Dr)  Hammed Afolabi Bakare in his Sallah message urged Muslims to keep praying for global peace which is being threatened by wars between nations .

 

He described the occasion of I’d kabir as another privilege to rededicate oneself to the service of Allah and ensure steadfastness in ones faith and obedience to the Supreme Being

“As Muslims all over the world celebrate yet another eid el kabir, the Ekiti State chapter of the Supreme Council For for Islamic Affairs-NSCIA send congratulatory message to our Governor BAO, President General League of Imams and alfas,Western states,Edo and Delta ,Sheikh  Jamiu Keulere Bello, Deputy Governor, SSG to the Government, Alhaja Dr Habibat Adubiaro, all Imams and alfas,muslims in Ekiti state on the occasion of I’d kabir celebration.

According to him, the occasion of I’d kabir is another privilege to rededicate oneself to the service of Allah and ensure steadfastness in ones faith and obedience to the Supreme Being.

“I urge Muslims to keep praying for global peace which is being threatened by wars between nations noting that the Israel / Gaza and Russia/ Ukraine wars are not something the world should ignore nor sleep over.

The  Council  called for continued prayers against hunger, economic hardship and criminalities ravaging many nations including Nigeria so that tranquility could reign across the world.

The Council pray for the governments of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji saying both have distinguished themselves as lovers of peace and development through their people’s friendly policies and programs.

The  Muslim body noted that the series of palliatives distributed among citizens on a regular basis had cushioned the effects of economic hardship being witnessed nationwide.

The Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs, Ekiti State also commend the governor of Ekiti State for paying the June salaries ahead of the ileya festivities noting that the gesture which  has not only relieved the Muslims but every worker was unprecedented and laudable.

The  Council  urged both Muslims and Christians to continue to live in harmony and advise  governments at all levels on policies and programs that will impact positively on the people as well as the ones affecting the people negatively .May Allah allow us to witness more of I’d kabir celebration in peace, happy I’d kabir celebration to all muslims and Nigeria citizens.”
