Ekiti LG Boss Lifts Security Agents With Mobility Tools For Patrol 

Deternined to tackle the menace of insecurity in Irewolede Local Council Development in Ekiti security  outfits have  been empowered with mobility tools for effective patrol.
Distributing  the items with included  motorcycles  at the headquarters Iloro-Ekiti ,the chairperson, Hon Dupe Bakare charged the beneficiaries  to use the equipments for their purposes and ensure that lives and properties of Irewolede people are safeguarded.
The beneficiaries include Amotekun Security Network, Department of State Services (DSS), Peace Corps department, and The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The items included:  four Motorcycles and 8 tyres to Four Security Operatives in the Council.
Bakare said that governmental activities can not thrive in the atmosphere of insecurity, hence the need for security agencies to be equipped with the necessary wherewithal for optimal performance.
She added that her Administration is committed to the safety of lives and properties of the people of the Council through her partnership and collaboration with security personnel.
 “You will agree with me that governmental activities cannot thrive in an atmosphere of insecurity. I strongly hold the belief that Security Operatives must be well grounded and equipped with the necessary wherewithal for optimal performance.
“It’s against this backdrop that my Administration has been committed to the safety of lives and properties of the entire Citizenry of the Council through the collaborative efforts of the Security Agencies.
“It is on this note I enjoin you to use these for their purposes in patrolling the Communities for the safety of our people.”
Bakare added that her administration has made an indelible mark through execution of impactful projects such as, Construction of modern open stalls at Temidire-Ekiti, Grading of township and farmstead roads, procurement of office facilities for Amotekun Security Network, Renovation of seven lock-ups Shops at Oja-Oba Market, Iloro-Ekiti, among others; all in ensuring betterment for the people of Irewolede.
