Ekiti Lawmaker Greets  Ex CoS Omoleye, Fapohunda, Akin-Fasae on Birth Anniversaries

 

 

The Chairman, Ekiti State House of Assembly’s Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, has congratulated the former Chief of Staff to Ekiti Governor, Hon. Biodun Omoleye and ex-Attorney General and Justice Commissioner, Wale Fapohunda, on their respective birthdays .

In similar fashion, the lawmaker representing Ikole Constituency 2, also saluted a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress and Veteran Journalist, Chief Biodun Akin-Fasae, for celebrating his birthday today 25th December , 2022.

The Human Rights Lawyer, described the trio as illustrious and respectable Ekiti, who contributed immensely to the socio-economic and political development of our dear state, especially the successes recorded under the enigmatic leadership of the immediate past Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.

In a statement issued in Ayedun Ekiti, on Sunday, Aribasoye , saluted the triumvirate on their personal accomplishments in their chosen careers, saying this reflected in the quality leadership they displayed in various positions where they held sway.

Aribasoye, in his congratulatory message to Fapohunda, who clocked 55, said the fact that the lawyer rose to the pinnacle of his career and became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, attested to his brilliancy and efforts he put up to make himself relevant in the legal profession.

“We could all attest to the way Hon Wale Fapohunda rejuvenated and restructured the Justice Ministry as Attorney General. He proved that he was a man of quality and sound intellectual prowess.

“He was instrumental to the enactment of several laws like Gender Based Violence Prohibition Law, Equal Opportunities Law, amendments to the Child’s Rights act, and many others.

“He helped in tightening noose on rapists and protection of the rights of girl child, thereby projecting gender equality in Ekiti.

“May the good Lord grants you long life, sound health and prosperity to live the rest of your life”.

Felicitating the former Chief of Staff, Omoleye, on his birthday, Aribasoye, posited that the politician would fondly be remembered for his accessible and simple nature, and the loyalty he displayed as a disciple to former Governor Fayemi during the trying times.

“Hon Biodun Omoleye, is undisputably one of the most loyal and trusted disciples around former Governor Fayemi. He is trustworthy, brilliant and committed to progressive ideals.

“As a Chief of Staff, he posed as a reliable, staunch and accessible personality. He promotes the virtues of selflessness and togetherness in service.

“I pray to God to continue to uphold you in your quests to offer more rewarding and positively impactful services to the good people of Ekiti State”.

To Chief Akin-Fasae, Aribasoye, said his footprints have become indelible in the annals of progressive politics, by being loyal and steadfast with the progressive politics, ethos and ideals.

He saluted the APC chieftain for his commitment to the project Ekiti and for always playing prominent role at every opportunity to decorate the state with the right feather by projecting its image and sending a signal that Ekiti is a land of honour and opportunities.

“Chief Biodun Akin-Fasae’s contributions to Ekiti as a Journalist, Chief Press Secretary,Local Government Chairman and Special Adviser remained evergreen. He is intelligent, focused , fearless and not easily rattled by challenges.

“I pray to God to spare your life and grant you more wisdom and energy to contribute more to the growth of Ekiti and its people”.
