Ekiti Lawmaker Mourns Demise of Oyebanji’s Supporter

 

A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, has mourned the demise of Mrs Titilope Adekunle Aarinola, an outstanding and exemplary social media supporter of the governor-elect, Hon Biodun Oyebanji.

The 32-year old Titilope died on 16th August , 2022 during a brief illness and her corpse had been interred in her Are- Ekiti countryhome.

The lawmaker representing Ikole constituency 2, in a condolence message to the deceased’s family, on Thursday, described Titilope as a committed and highly spirited supporter of the All Progressives Congress during her lifetime.

Aribasoye described her death as devastating and stunning, coming at a time it was least expected, assuring that her efforts won’t be in vain.

He saluted the deceased for her visible and irrepressible backing for Oyebanji during the electioneering campaigns, saying this had actually immotalised Titilope in the minds of progressive politicians in the state.

“Titilope’s sudden demise was so saddening and scandalous. It came at a time it was least expected . But it has been established in the Holy Book that God is the giver and taker of life and we must take solace in this unassailable fact.

“The most important thing had been that the deceased lived a worthy and memorable life. She was able to prove a point that gender was no barrier to anyone to contribute to the political development of her country.

“Having a retrospect of the active and visible roles she played in Biodun Oyebanji’s victory, one would see that Titilope was highly resourceful and outstanding. Her zeal for excellence knew no bounds. She was a highly spirited individual.

“I commiserate with Titilope’s parents, Governor Kayode Fayemi, his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the governor-elect, Biodun Oyebanji , the APC Social Media Team and members of our great party over the devastating loss of this lovely personage.

“I pray that the good Lord will console the family and give them the requisite fortitude to withstand this great loss”, he said.
