As the 2023 National Assembly elections draw near, candidate for the Oye/ Ikole Federal Constituency ,Hon Bimbo Daramola (alias congressman) has admonished the people in his constituents to make informed decision and cast their votes for the best .
Daramola in a statement on Sunday cautioned that the current situation in Nigeria would not allow anybody to toy with the future of the younger generation in the name blind loyalty to political parties.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Oye/Ikole Federal Constituency argued that party loyalty had not and would not help anyone from the present economic hardship but experience and track record of service .
The SDP chieftain maintained that he remains the best candidate for the job going by his verifiable track record and proof of service as confirmed by direct some direct beneficiaries from within and outside of Ekiti State
The convener of OneUnitedAfrica initiative who had just returned from a continental engagement in Zambia also described party loyalty as a bait on a trap to deceive hundreds of jobless youths.
He therefore challenged the proponents party loyalty to come out and tell the public the benefits they have enjoyed over the years.
“My humble TRACK RECORD IS MY PROOF. You can’t buy experience!
Experience is the difference!!! Above all its service from SAME HEART ” the SDP candidate assured.
Daramola also reiterated that his desire to return to the Green Chamber was to lift more youths out of poverty and unemployment.
He said “don’t let them deceive you, Party loyalty is a bait on a trap, those who direct you to vote your party people , what have they done for you ? They have appointments but the benefits of their appointments has not trickled down to more jobs for ordinary people, but to them, they will give 10k on election day and that’s your benefit for Party loyalty in four years.
Youth, Parents please THINK..
” The Son of State Party Chairman has been looking for job for years, the two daughters of the Woman leader are still unemployed!!! Party Loyalty has not helped these innocent children out.So what of you in the OYE/IKOLE Local Governments and Wards? ” Daramola asked rhetorically.
