The Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji led administration has renewed its commitment towards developing mechanised integrated farming in line with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s executive order on food security.

Governor Oyebanji gave this commitment while receiving a delegation of
Origin Tech Group and Compo Brazil who called at his office in Ado-Ekiti .
The governor who received the delegation with some of his Senior aides said Ekiti has abundant human and natural resources to promoting integrated farming, particularly in the hinterland.
The governor specifically cited the availability of land and water resources at Itapaji Dams in Ekiti ,stressing that it would be bkesding to the adjoining communities .
Mr Governor assured the group of his administration’s readiness to provide enabling environment and full support for the project to thrive.
Oyebanji also emphasized the need to impact the communities around the project site in terms of job opportunities and wealth windows.
With Mr governor at the meeting were, Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and food security, Mr Boluwade Ebenezer and the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Niyi Adebayo.
Others were ; Dr. Sikiru Olowoyo (Senior Special Assistant on Agricultural Extension), Mr Kehinde Ajayi (Senior Special Assistant on Agric Processing Zone) and Special Adviser on Project.
