Her post comes as the family dispute continues to generate reactions online, following Fatai’s emotional app£@l for reconciliation with his father.

Recall that 66-year-old stepson, Fatai Okoya, accused her of preventing him from seeing his father.

Fatai, the first son of the billionaire industrialist, has been a subject of discussion online since October 18, 2026, when he publicly appealed to his father, Chief Razaq Akanni Okoya, for forgiveness and an opportunity to rebuild their relationship after about 40 years of estrangement.

During a viral interview with Yeye Kudi, Fatai explained that one of the major reasons for the rift between him and his father was his decision to marry a woman his father reportedly disapproved of. He also dismissed rumours that he had stolen a large sum of money, insisting that the incid£nt was not the sole reason his father had yet to forgive him.

Fatai further revealed that he had repeatedly tried to contact his father, sometimes through friends, but had struggl£d to gain access to him.

Recounting his experience at his father’s 86th birthday celebration on January 12, 2026, Fatai said he received a VIP welcome but was allegedly prevented from approaching his father by Shade Okoya.

“I was turned back by Alhaja Shade Okoya,” he said, explaining that he only wanted to greet his father. He added that his father saw him at the event but did not speak to him.

My father did not have anything to say,” Fatai added.
