Aviation expert and former gubernatorial aspirant in Ekiti State ,Otunba Demola POPOOLA (alias ODEP) has unveiled the final burial arrangnenrs for his late mother ,Prophetess Victoria Popoola who died on June 21,2022.
Popoola,chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) ,in a statement said the week long burial activities would kick-off in Ibadan on Tuesday ,13th September ,2022 with a Commendation Service at the CAC Coshen land Apete Ibadan, follow by Service of Songs and Praise Night at Victoria Event Place Sango Ibadan on the same day .
No fewer than eight top Nigerian gospel singers including Evengelist Bola Aare, Ayan Jesu, Femi Oorun and Taiwo Ojodu would featured at the event.
Also expected at the Praise Night are : Evangelist Elijah Olorunkosobe, Atorise, Kemi Rehoboth and Pastor Adelakun Ayewa.
The event would move to Ekiti on Thursday,15 September ,2022 where Christian Wake and Praise Night would hold at the deceased residence-Popoola House , Phase 2 ,Federal University Oye-Ekiti road, Oye-Ekiti.
The statement said internment and Thanksgiving shall take place on Friday,16 September 2022 at Popoola House and CAC ,Oke- isegun Oye-Ekiti respectively,while the reception follows at Our Ladies Seat of Wisdom,Oye-Ekiti on sane day.
The ceremony is expected to attract the high profile personalities within and out outside Nigeria .
Late Madam Popoola died at the age of 86 .
