– Says His Life Is One Of Grace
Former member of the National Assembly, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, has felicitated Chief Sunny Adeniyi Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Adegeye [KSA], on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, the former federal lawmaker, who fondly calls the celebrant “The King,” said he joins family, friends and admirers from all over the world to thank God for the fulfilled life granted to the octogenarian.
“The King, as I call you Sir, I join your family, friends and admirers from all over the world to thank God for the full, fulfilled and fulfilling life that God has given you. Without doubt yours is a life of grace,” Daramola stated.
Reflecting on the celebrant’s journey, the former Congressman noted that despite moments of betrayal by friends, bad investment decisions and challenges of ill health, God has seen him through, and he has remained at the crest of life.
“You have had and gone through your trough moments of betrayal by friends, of bad investment decisions and ill health, but God took you through them all and you have remained at the crest of life after all the adversities. Too many victories and accomplishments in a lifetime that has paled your challenges to insignificance,” he added.
Daramola prayed for more grace, good health and strength for the celebrant to continue to do what he loves.
“Today all that I can say is Congratulations the King and my prayers are with you for more grace to continue to live in good health and do what you love doing. Happy Birthday Sir,” the statement read.
He signed off in his characteristic jovial manner: “Yours, Bimbo [‘lanrewaju n jaye e lo were were’ as you usually sing for me..]”
