Group Hails  Kayode Ojo’s Controbutions To Nigeria’s Progress, Education  Advancement 

A Group of Professionals “APC INTEGRITY GROUP, Ekiiti State Chapter has described the  appointment  of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and former governorship aspirant ,Engineer  Kayode Ojo  as chairman of the Govern Council of three reputable   Federal Universities within  six months  by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a testament to his(Ojo’s ) competence and capacity to contribute to the nation’s growth and development.

A statement jointly  signed by the group’s  State Coordinator, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyeye and General Secretary  Elder Oso Kayode said the  redeployment of an astute, Engineer and businessman cum politician, Engineer  Ojo from the Federal University, Lokoja after  he had served for about three months at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) to one of the oldest and leading Universities in Nigeria, the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) as a Coucil Chairman and Pro- Chancellor is commendable.

While congratulating the new UNN Chairman and Pro- Chancellor on his new place of work, the Group charged Mr. Ojo not to be detracted but rather continue to put in his best to Maintain high standards of professional conduct, demonstrate consistent performance, show ability to adapt to new challenges quickly, build and maintain strong professional networks to justify the confidence repose in him by President Tinubu.

The statement noted that as  a Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) and Federal University, Lokoja (FULOKOJA), Ojo had  demonstrated his ability to foster institutional development through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. In addition, he was instrumental in strengthening academic programs, enhancing infrastructural development, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. His leadership helped position both universities as a rising hub for innovation and research in Nigeria.

“The appointment and redeployments of an Ekiti born Metallurgical and Materials Engineer, Mr. Kayode Ojo in three Federal Universities within  six months of his first ever political appointment has shown that,  President  Tinubu valued his competence, brilliance and strategic skills at developing the Society”.

“The rapid progression of an academic administrator through positions of increasing responsibility at multiple federal universities represents a compelling case of study in leadership excellence and institutional management.”Therefore, his latest redeployment to UNN was in no doubt aimed at examining qualities and competencies that could have enabled such an  exceptional career advancement in higher education administration, using the case of his appointments across multiple prestigious Nigerian federal universities, within a very short period of time.
