Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji has saluted the vision and industry of the Director General Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre on the successful hosting of the 6th edition of Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari .
The governor who spoke during the annual event promised that his administration would continue to invest in tourism.
While thanking Ojo-Lanre and his team for the outstanding efforts in promoting tourism and creating memorable experiences for visitors,the governor stressed that while culture remains a vital component of tourism, there are numerous other facets that contribute to its growth and development.
Similarly. Tourism promoters have also lauded the management of the Rite Foods Company over its supports .
The convener , Discover Ekiti Tourism Club Michael Peculiar Ekiran who gave this commendation disclosed that the Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari which is an annual event, started in April 2019 .
The event was organised by the promoter in collaboration with the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development , Office of the Governor.
He explained that the initiative focuses on showcasing, promoting and projecting Ekiti Mountain Tourism potentials to the world..

According to him,through the Hike Ekiti Mountain Safari , the body hopes to coalesce support for the development of ghe beautiful sites in Ekiti to a global tourist .

He used the occasion to also appreciated the Governor for given the approval for the development of Tourism Master Plan for Ekiti State.
