A yet to be identified man had kidnapped a three weeks-old baby.Report says the baby was stolen few minutes after the mother left the baby in the sitting room and went into the bedroom.
The suspect —who had kept vigil—entered the room and wrapped the baby in a piece of clothes, and escaped on a waiting motorcycle.
The mother noticed quickly and raised the alarm. The community acted fast, setting up stop-and-search checkpoints. While escaping, the kidnappers’ motorcycle broke down. At that moment, the baby woke up and cried loudly, drawing attention.
