#OneUnitedAfrica Foundation celebrates Her Excellency, Nandi-Ndaitwah on her inauguration as Namibia first female President and the fifth for the nation.
Winning a hard-fought election by 57% of legitimate votes cast was a testament to her acceptability, resilience and acknowledgement of her services in previously held positions.
With her inauguration today, the 72-year-old Nandi-Ndaitwah has joined a handful of female leaders in Africa after the likes of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, Joyce Banda of Malawi and Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania. She has equally become a surefooted representative of the female gender who are keeping the flag of women’s rights aloft, the World over.
Following her declaration as the winner of the Country’s late 2024 polls, Nandi-Ndaitwah declared that “the Namibian nation has voted for peace and stability”, a statement considered by political watchers as a foretaste of what her administration potends.
The Convener, Management and Staff of #OneUnitedAfrica Foundation congratulates Madam President and wish the Government and people of the Republic of Namibia sustained peace, economic stability and progressive development.
Ling lived, President Nandi-Ndaitwah
Long lived, Republic of Namibia
