Ido/Osi Council Chairman Promises Better  Deal For Workers 

 

The Chairman of Ido/Osi Local Government Honorable Bamidele Adetiloye Omoleye has acknowledged  the supports and  co-operation of his workers  in the past year ,urging  them to sustain it for the Council to move forward.
Speaking during  a prayer meeting held in the Local Government Secretariat in Ido-Ekiti., the council boss  also charged the staff to re-dedicate themselves to their duties.
He said they should show more positive attitude to their duties by coming to office regularly and punctually. He warmed them against all act capable of dragging the council name in the mud, which he said ranged from rumor mongering, truancy, dishonesty among others.

The council chairman urged the staff to sustain the peaceful co-existence in the Local Government stressing that no meaningful development could take place in the atmosphere of acrimony.

He said  that they should always be their brother’s keeper. while reiterating the decision of his leadership to reposition the local government in the discharge of its responsibilities for effective  and efficient service delivery at the grassroots, as well as making the council area a cynosure of every eyes among others.

Hon Omoleye said;He will continue to run open door administration make staff welfare a priority. He will continue to ensure conductive working environment

The  head of Local Government Administration Mr Sanya Gbenga commended the council chairman for his fatherly role and for always making staff welfare a priority mostly in the area of payment of financial assistance and other allowances.

He said to whom much is given much is expected and therefore urged the staff to work very hard this year. Responding on the behalf of the staff, the Nulge representative assured the chairman of more support and co-operation from members of staff of the Local Council this year and beyond.
