This is the latest as the Oyo State High Court in Ogbomoso has ruled against the appointment of King Olaoye .
Recall that dispute ensued when another contender for the throne, Laoye Kabir, queried the alleged untidy manner in which the selection process was conducted. The appellant is also challenging Ghandi’s suitability and pointed out discrepancies in the selection procedure.
The court injunction further supported Kabir’s claims, leading to the decision to conduct a fresh selection process.
This decision came after concerns were raised about the selection process. The court order also halted Ghandi’s installation, which had already taken place on September 8, 2023.Details
